  • Their responsibilities
  • Dealing with changing road conditions e.g. temporary narrowing
  • How to pass or overtake a grader – communication requirements between road works crews and vehicle operators
  • Hazard awareness and management including signs
  • Relevant incident information to illustrate what can go wrong
